Felt Witch Figurine with Black Cat – Fairytale Home Decor

Description

Description

This felt witch figurine – which comes as a set with a black cat figurine – is a fairytale home decor or collectible doll. It may be also a scarry Halloween ornament or a decoration for theme party. You can put it on a shelf, desk, table or windowsill making your house more misterious and spooky.

I create this large art figure by hand in felting technique with great attention to details. She consists of soft merino wool and linen twine. Her dress is empty inside but thick, which makes the figure stable. Each of her props is permanently fixed, so you can be sure that she will never lose it. The cat goes its own way, so I can not fix it to the witch.

This felt witch figurine has an ugly brown hat and is wearing dirty and old clothes. She has a needle felted face with frowned eyebrows, long crooked nose and prominent chin. She also has a black needle felted cat, which is her only companion. Who knows what secrets she is hiding and what spells she is whispering at night. If you are not afraid, try to invite her to your home and give her shelter. Maybe this Baba Yaga doll will protect you from curses of the other witches.

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.
