Beige neck warmer for women

This beige neck warmer is perfect for women, who love cocoa brown and feeling of comfort. You can use it from autumn to spring, wearing it with coats, turtlenecks, dresses and other clothing. Color of this collar is quite unique and it is not so easy to find similar scarves on the internet. If you like such shades, don’t hesitate and make it yours!

This cocoa brown scarf is a kind of wrap and I recommend wearing it close to the neck. This way it will make you warm and cozy, highlighting your face and shoulders at the same time. To make it easier, I accessorize it with a beautiful felted pin in pickle green. It has a flower shape, so it makes this beige neck warmer even more feminine, but above all, it fits the scarf perfectly.

I make this lovely set by hand in nuno felting technique. I use only soft merino wool, silk fabric and mulberry silk fibers. This gives the scarf a bit of other colors, like black, pearl and green. The most important thing, however, is that it makes this nuno felt collar natural and eco friendly. With this combination of materials you won’t be cold, but you won’t overheat as well.

Scarf length: 58 cm (22.8 in)
Scarf width: 22 cm (8.7 in)
Brooch diameter: 11 cm (4.3 in)
Weight: 50 g (0.11 lb)

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

These small bits of wool are delicate and ephemeral like snowflakes. They are just perfect to use with handmade felt as a substitute for glitter and sequins which are applied to other fabrics.

In wet felting process you use some water to make wool fibers wet. With this watering can I am able to pour it quickly and efficiently.

They are all natural silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like fiber lightnings that reflect sunbeams.

Thanks to its metal head with strainer, bulb sprinkler allows me to spray water onto my works in a controlled way, so that I do not flood my neighbours.
