This Cleopatra figurine is a unique decoration related to ancient Egypt. I created it especially for those who love Egyptian culture and are fascinated by Egyptian rulers. Therefore, this felted statue will be a perfect gift for historians, archaeologists, etc. Also, as it is pretty rare, I am sure it will be a valuable find for people who collect various dolls.
As I already mentioned, this figurine is a likeness of queen Cleopatra. She has tanned face and arms and her outfit is really luxurious. She is wearing a white dress with golden belt and she has a beautiful blue collar on her shoulders. I reachly decorate the collar with glass beads and golden thread. As you can see in the pictures, there are also a few golden threads in the braids of this doll. Moreover, as an Egyptian queen, this lady is crowned with a golden band. In her hand she holds a long golden staff which is a symbol of authority. Both these props and all golden ornaments on her clothes make her look magnificent and imperious.
As to details, I make this Cleopatra figurine by hand in felting technique. It consists of soft merino wool, golden threads and laces, so even if it falls off the desk or table, it will not crash or break. To make it even more durable and stable, I fix all props of this figure to its body and stuff its dress. Thus, it is very easy to put it anywhere. And, whether you place this collectible doll on the shelf in your home or on the desk in your office, it will give your surroundings a royal and ancient look. Of course, it will also please your eyes whenever you look at it.

How to care about this figurine
Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your figurine gets dirty, you can remove dust and debris with a lint roller or vacuum cleaner. If it needs to be refreshed, wipe it gently with a damp cloth or sponge.

Take a look behind the scenes!
This technique is pretty similar to wet felting but items you create are more lightweight. You can make nuno felt using silk, linen or other fabric with open weave – just remember to make a mess!
Needle felting is the most laborious and the most precise way of making felt. It is used whenever one works on a detail and wants to control the wool down to the smallest fiber.
They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.
Wool yarn – if shaggy enough – can be interwoven with merino fibers. Since it fits in perfectly with felt, it is one of my most favourite decorations.
