Felt Ball Bracelet for Women and Girls with Colorful Beads on a Chain

‹Return to Previous Page

Felt ball bracelet

This felt ball bracelet is a piece of organic jewelry for women and girls. It consists of 10 colorful beads hanging on a jewelry chain in antique bronze color. I make these soft beads by hand in felting technique in the colors of your choice, so you can match this bracelet with your own style. Beads are free to move in all directions, as they are attached to the chain with one side only. This way they just can’t stop bouncing and swinging with every gesture. With their unruly behavior, they will attract attention to all you do.

This multicolor bracelet is a one-size jewelry. It is fully adjustable, as you can fasten the lobster claw anywhere in the chain. Felted balls consist of soft merino wool, which is natural, nice in touch and skin-friendly. I make them to order in one of the predefined palettes, but you can also choose just one color of wool from my color chart. In the pictures you can see beads in rainbow palette, one-color bracelet and a bracelet in green palette. You can also see how they look on my wrist and combined with women outfit. Take your time and choose what fits best with your own personality and wardrobe.

To place your order, choose one color or palette. I will make this felt ball bracelet for you and ship it as soon as possible.

Bracelet length (max wrist size): 22 cm (8.7 in)

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Needle felted heart on a bunker hatch
Needle felting

Needle felting is the most laborious and the most precise way of making felt. It is used whenever one works on a detail and wants to control the wool down to the smallest fiber.

Nuno felted flower
Nuno felting

This technique is pretty similar to wet felting but items you create are more lightweight. You can make nuno felt using silk, linen or other fabric with open weave – just remember to make a mess!

Mulberry silk tops

They are all natural silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like fiber lightnings that reflect sunbeams.

Linen fibers

They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.
