Felt Peacock Brooch with Feather Shape and Turquoise Eye

‹Return to Previous Page

This felt peacock brooch is perfect for women who love unique and outstanding jewelry. Pin it to your blouse, handbag or dress and feel like a beautiful and colorful bird! This big felted brooch has a shape of frayed feather, which makes it look ethereal and lightweight. And so it is, as it consists mostly of soft merino wool. It has beautiful contrasting colors and shiny silk fibers that make it very eye-catching. Thanks to natural materials this peacock feather brooch is very nice in touch and environmentally friendly. It keeps its shape for a long time and can be hand washed if needed.

I make this peacock eye jewelry in felting technique. It has two antiallergic safety-pins, so you can easily attach it anywhere you want. It is comfortable to wear and each time you accessorize with it, you will look extraordinary and spectacular. If you like bird feather jewelry, this turquoise brooch will definitely win your heart. You can also make it a nice birthday gift – this felt peacock brooch is pretty versatile and will appeal to most women.

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.
