Felted Ball Bracelet in Two Colors with Adjustable Jewelry Chain

‹Return to Previous Page

Felted ball bracelet

This felted ball bracelet is a nice fiber jewelry for every woman and girl. It consists of felted beads in two sizes, that hang on a jewelry chain in antique bronze color. I make these soft beads in felting technique in the colors of your choice, so you can match this bracelet with your own style. Felted balls are free to move in all directions, as they are attached to the chain with one side only. This way they just can’t stop swinging and bouncing with every gesture. With their unruly behavior, they will emphasize all you do.

This one-size bracelet is fully adjustable, as you can fasten its lobster claw anywhere in the chain. It is also natural and eco-friendly, because all beads consist of soft merino wool. This will let you use this felted ball bracelet every day without the risk of allergies or skin irritations. I make this bracelet by hand in two colors that you can choose from my color chart. This way it will fit to your clothes and meet your needs. In the pictures you can see two sample bracelets. Take your time and design one for yourself according to your own imagination and style.

Bracelet length (max wrist size): 22 cm (8.7 in)
Small beads diameter: 1.5 cm (0.5 in)
Large beads diameter: 2 cm (0.8 in)
Bracelet weight: 18 g (0.04 lb)

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Our favourite watering can for wet felting
Watering can

In wet felting process you use some water to make wool fibers wet. With this watering can I am able to pour it quickly and efficiently.

Wet felting

Wet felting is just rubbing wool fibers with your own hands. You had better go to the gym and exercise your muscles before you even start! Nothing can help more than strong arms.

These small knots of wool are ephemeral and beautiful like a snowflakes. They are a perfect for handmade felt replacing glitter or sequins applied for other fabrics.

Wool yarn – if shaggy enough – can be interwoven with merino fibers. Since it fits in perfectly with felt, it is one of my most favourite decorations.
