This felted poppy brooch is made of bright red wool. It is small compared with other felt brooches, so you can easily pin it to your blouse, dress or bag. You can even attach it to a headband or bracelet. This red felted brooch is really cute and very romantic. It is perfect as a jewelry gift for women and teens, since every woman loves red flowers.
This red poppy is hand felted of soft merino wool. Its petals are decorated with black silk fibers, which makes each flower unique. On the back the brooch has a hand-sewn safety-pin in antique bronze color (no glue, just matching threads), which lets you attach it anywhere. If you love red flowers just like I do, but do not want to overload your outfit with large felt brooches, this cute one is for you. Otherwise, you can give it to your wife, mother, daugther or friend and be almost sure that you will make them happy with this gift.

How to care about felted handicraftMerino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):
- Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
- Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
- After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
- Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
- Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
- If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.
