Felted Santa ornaments
These felted Santa ornaments will cheer every home during winter holidays. I make their red pointy hats, heads and big beige noses of natural merino wool and add a curly white beard to each of them. Thanks to a linen thread you can hang them anywhere. These cute Santa Clauses will look gorgeous not only on your Christmas tree, but also in your window and on your door. Let these fellows spend winter holidays with you and your family or give them to someone who loves handmade decorations. Wherever they go, they will make Christmas a special time.
These felted ornaments are long-lasting and lightweight, so one can hang a few of them on a single branch. They feel best in a group and this is why I sell them in lovely Christmas sets. On this page you can buy 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 50 hanging Santas. The bigger set you choose, the lower the price per single decoration, so talk your friends and family into group shopping.
I make these felted Santa ornaments to order. They are pretty time-consuming, so if you order many pieces, it may take a few days before I ship them. You can contact me, if you need to know estimated handling time.

How to care about these ornaments
Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your ornaments get dirty, you can remove dust and debris with a lint roller or vacuum cleaner. If they need to be refreshed, wipe them gently with a damp cloth or sponge. During the year, store your ornaments in an airtight container or zipper bag to protect them against cloth moths.

Take a look behind the scenes!
They are all natural silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like fiber lightnings that reflect sunbeams.
Wool yarn – if shaggy enough – can be interwoven with merino fibers. Since it fits in perfectly with felt, it is one of my most favourite decorations.
Thanks to its metal head with strainer, bulb sprinkler allows me to spray water onto my works in a controlled way, so that I do not flood my neighbours.
Needle felting is the most laborious and the most precise way of making felt. It is used whenever one works on a detail and wants to control the wool down to the smallest fiber.
