Gingerbread heart ornaments
These gingerbread heart ornaments will add a bit of cheer to every home. If you love to bake (or eat) aromatic gingerbread, holiday decor of this kind will be a perfect choice for you. I make these nice hearts by hand in needle felting technique. Their only material is natural merino wool. It makes them eco-friendly and durable, which is crucial if you are going to use them for a few Christmas seasons.
Each heart has a linen loop, so you can easily hang it in any place you want. They will look beautiful and tasty on your Christmas tree but also on your windows, doors and lamps. Cost efficient sets will let you place them all over you house. It would be also a nice idea to give a few hearts to someone who loves unique home decor. This way you will share love with this person and make your Xmas time more meaningful.
On this page you can buy 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 50 felted hearts. The bigger set you choose, the lower the price per single decoration, so talk your friends and family into group shopping. Making these gingerbread heart ornaments is pretty time-consuming, so if you order many pieces, it may take a few days before I ship them. In this case, you can contact me for estimated handling time.

How to care about these ornaments
Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your ornaments get dirty, you can remove dust and debris with a lint roller or vacuum cleaner. If they need to be refreshed, wipe them gently with a damp cloth or sponge. During the year, store your ornaments in an airtight container or zipper bag to protect them against cloth moths.

Take a look behind the scenes!
These small bits of wool are delicate and ephemeral like snowflakes. They are just perfect to use with handmade felt as a substitute for glitter and sequins which are applied to other fabrics.
They are all natural silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like fiber lightnings that reflect sunbeams.
