Gray cowl scarf with red flower

This gray cowl scarf is a comfortable and natural accessory for women. I make it by hand in wet felting technique. It consists of soft Australian merino wool, which is cozy and breathable at the same time. To give this tube scarf an artistic look, I decorate it with lovely red flower and floral motif. I make it on a sewing machine to reflect all the details, like leaves, buds and stalks. It makes this cowl very feminine and romantic.

This felt snood scarf has a tubular shape and is wider at the bottom. It is a bit loose and fits all sizes. As it consists of breathable fibers, it prevents overheating. This will let you wear it from autumn to spring. Even during warmer days, it can be a nice decoration and protection against wind.

Wearing this felted circle scarf is really simple. You just put it through your head and that’s it – you are ready to go out. Its light gray color and flower design make it versatile. You will wear it on many occasions and combine it with many types of clothing. Its versatility makes it also a nice gift for her. It will win heart of every woman, who loves designer accessories.

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Thanks to its metal head with strainer, bulb sprinkler allows me to spray water onto my works in a controlled way, so that I do not flood my neighbours.

They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.
