These felted elves are ready to become your Christmas ornaments and help you decorate your house for holiday. Usually, they live with Santa Claus in the North Pole making toys for children and taking care of his reindeers. But now these little gnomes with pointy ears and hats just wait for your sign. They will arrive to your home and spend winter holidays with you and your family in just a few clicks.
These hanging Christmas tree decorations are made by hand in wet felting technique. They consist of soft merino wool, which makes them very lightweigh – you can hang many of them on a single branch. Each elf has a linen thread, which lets you hang it wherever you want. They look nice on a Christmas tree, in the window or attached to the door or furniture. These felted fellows will be very happy to spend winter holidays with your family, but you can also give a set of them to someone you love or add a few elves to your Christmas gifts as package decorations.
I will make these hanging Christmas tree decorations to order immediately after your purchase and ship them as soon as possible with first class mail (if you need to know estimated delivery date, contact me before ordering).
On this listing you can buy 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 50 elves. The bigger set you choose, the lower the price per single decoration, so talk your friends and family into group shopping. You can also use Quantity field, if you want to buy more than one set.

How to care about felted handicraftMerino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):
- Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
- Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
- After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
- Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
- Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
- If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Take a look behind the scenes!
Take a deep breath before you take one of them into your hand. With tiny barbs on their edges felting needles are smart and dangerous tools for tangling fibers in the most laborious way possible.
Wet felting is just rubbing wool fibers with your own hands. You had better go to the gym and exercise your muscles before you even start! Nothing can help more than strong arms.
Superfine merino wool is just perfect for fashion applications. With its delicacy, excellent thermal properties, strong fibers and antiallergic effect it is invaluable.
Needle felting is the most laborious and the most precise way of making felt. It is used whenever one works on a detail and wants to control the wool down to the smallest fiber.
