Jewelry box for girl
This felted strawberry is a cute jewelry box for girl. Every little lady will love it from the first sight. She can hold her pins and necklaces inside or use it as a keepsake box to store other treasures. This red strawberry is really sweet. If you put it on a desk, shelf or dresser, it will give a magical look to the kids’ room. It will be also perfect for women who love kawaii style, as there is no shame in being a girl from time to time.
This jewelry box for girl is made by hand. I make it in felting technique using soft merino wool, so it is natural and environmentally friendly (it contains long fibers, so don’t give it to babies, who can put it into their mouth). Each piece is slightly different, but every box has round shape and a cute green lid. You can choose one of three sizes (small, medium or large). The smallest strawberry is designed to store rings and earings, whereas the biggest box will accommodate necklaces, pendants and bracelets. In the pictures you can see all three sizes compared with my hand and with the same pair of earrings.
As you can see, this felted fruit is a perfect gift for girls. You can buy it for your loved one and I hope it will let you see the pure joy on her face. You can also buy two pieces and teach your girl to share. If she gives one fruit to her best friend, it will work as a cute friendship box for them.

How to care about felted handicraftMerino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):
- Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
- Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
- After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
- Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
- Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
- If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Take a look behind the scenes!
Take a deep breath before you take one of them into your hand. With tiny barbs on their edges felting needles are smart and dangerous tools for tangling fibers in the most laborious way possible.
Wet felting is just rubbing wool fibers with your own hands. You had better go to the gym and exercise your muscles before you even start! Nothing can help more than strong arms.
They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.
They are all natural silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like fiber lightnings that reflect sunbeams.
