Description

Jewish rabbi figurine

This rabbi figurine is a unique Jewish home decor to put on a shelf or desk. I created it for all Jews and those who are interested in Jewish culture. You can be sure that if you place this religious decoration in your office or living room, it will amuse you and give a personal look to your space. This felted doll will be also a perfect gift for a rabbi or a lovely bar mitzvah gift for every little Jew. In both cases, it will help the recipient to express his affiliation and beliefs.

When it comes to details, I make this statue by hand in felting technique. It is of good quality and consists of pure merino wool, which is fully natural and biodegradable. To make this Jewish rabbi more stable, I stuff the figurine with pieces of felt. I also attach all its details properly to make it more durable.

As you can see in the pictures, this rabbi has a brown beard and payot curls. He is wearing a black hat on his head and a tallit on his arms. From what I know, the main task of this man is to serve the Jewish community. Therefore, he studies Torah and provides his people in all areas of life as a spiritual leader and counselor. One can always ask a rabbi for help or advice. So, buying this figurine you will probably get two in one. It will not only please your eyes with its funny peyos, but also support you with a wisdom accumulated over millennia.

Care Instructions

How to care about this figurine

Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your figurine gets dirty, you can remove dust and debris with a lint roller or vacuum cleaner. If it needs to be refreshed, wipe it gently with a damp cloth or sponge.

They are all natural silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like fiber lightnings that reflect sunbeams.

Needle felting

Needle felting is the most laborious and the most precise way of making felt. It is used whenever one works on a detail and wants to control the wool down to the smallest fiber.

Wet felting is just rubbing wool fibers with your own hands. You had better go to the gym and exercise your muscles before you even start! Nothing can help more than strong arms.
