Kiwi coasters and trivet

This table set consists of 5 pieces: four kiwi coasters and one large teapot trivet. I make all pieces of this set by hand in wet felting technique. The only material of these fruit coasters is felted wool. It is superfine Australian merino in green, white and black, so they are completely natural. All coasters look like slices of kiwi fruit. Of course they may vary slightly from the pictures because they are handmade items.

You can use these kiwi coasters as a table decor, e.g. during five o’clock teas with your friends or during your family dinners. They can also be your artistic green hot pads. The big trivet can also serve as a tabletop or table runner for a small table or as a placemat – it depends only on you and your imagination. No matter how you use these wool coasters, they will always make your home more artistic and beautiful. This table set will also be a perfect housewarming gift if you know someone likes fruit or needs a fresh touch in their home.

How to care about this set

Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your coasters get dirty, you can dry clean or hand wash them. I will include detailed washing instructions with your order.
