Nuno Felt Poppy Scarf Made of Merino Wool & Silk Muslin

Description

Description

This nuno felt poppy scarf is very eye-catching and versatile women accessory. I made it by hand in nuno felting technique. It consists of yellow silk muslin, superfine merino wool and natural silk fibers, which makes it airy and soft in the same time. It is perfect for most of the year except summer months – lets you warm your neck, back and chest, but also gives you a lot more. This nuno felt poppy scarf is very impressive and attention grabbing. As you can see in the pictures, it has three red flowers on its both ends. It is also decorated with single red petals in between. That makes it purely feminine and romantic, perfect for those of us, who love flower designs and are in a hunt for luxury, exclusive scarves.

Care Instructions

How to care about this scarf

Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your scarf gets dirty, you can dry clean or hand wash it. I will include detailed washing instructions with your order.

Natural felting soap made of olive oil
Felting soap

Delicate wool fibers, just as my hands, need to be protected with a soap made of natural olive oils. This soap makes my products longer lasting and skin-friendly.

Romantic wet felted flower
Wet felting

Wet felting is just rubbing wool fibers with your own hands. You had better go to the gym and exercise your muscles before you even start! Nothing can help more than strong arms.

Our favourite watering can for wet felting
Watering can

In wet felting process you use some water to make wool fibers wet. With this watering can I am able to pour it quickly and efficiently.

Colorful linen fibres standing in line
Linen fibers

They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.
