This pink nuno felt shawl consists of fine merino wool and crinkled silk chiffon. I made it by hand in nuno felting technique. I dyed the wool myself, so it has a few tones between pink, purple and lilac. Framing and silk are gray and dark gray. This high fashion shawl is really amazing. With its colors and lightweight design it looks like a flamingo. It is pretty large, but natural materials (e.g. sheer silk fabric) make it breathable and airy. It is also ecological and skin-friendly. You can wear it during warm winter or use it as an autumn and spring accessory. It will be a beautiful and feminine decoration for many women outfits. If you are looking for natural accessory, this pink nuno felt shawl may be your best choice. There is only one piece available in my stock that is waiting for a lucky buyer. Dimensions and weight of this nuno felted shawl are as follows.

How to care about felted handicraftMerino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):
- Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
- Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
- After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
- Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
- Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
- If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Take a look behind the scenes
Take a deep breath before you take it in your hand. With its hooked barbs felting needle is a smart and dangerous tool for tangling fibers in the most laborious possible way.
They are fully natural short silk fibers obtained from the cocoons of silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves. They look like soft fiber lightnings reflecting sunbeams.
Wet felting needs a lot of water to make all the wool wet. With this watering can we can pour all around very quickly and efficiently.
These small knots of wool are ephemeral and beautiful like a snowflakes. They are a perfect for handmade felt replacing glitter or sequins applied for other fabrics.
