This space figurine is a home decor statue or celestial office decoration. It can be also a cosmic collectible doll for adults. I created it especially for students, science enthusiasts and people working in science, like astronomers, physicists, philosophers, etc. It will be a perfect astronomy or astrology gift for them to put on a shelf or desk. It is also a beautiful sci-fi home decor for those who are fascinated by the immensity and depth of the cosmic space.
This space figurine is a metaphor of the cosmos. It has a dark dress with Milky Way pattern and a few stars on it. Just above her feet is the Moon with the partial eclipse. Her neck is heated with a comet tail and her head is a large cosmic rock. It has a meteorite impact crater and is decorated with a hat made of Saturn’s rings. There are even nine small moons orbiting on its brim.
I make this star queen by hand in felting technique with great attention to details. She consists of soft merino wool and has natural silk fibers, glass beads, small woolen balls and silver thread for decoration. Her dress is stuffed, which makes the figure stable. Each of her props is permanently fixed, so you can be sure that she will never lose it. Whether you buy this cosmic figurine as a science gift or simply as a star fairy, she will give a celestial rite to every room.

How to care about felted handicraftMerino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):
- Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
- Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
- After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
- Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
- Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
- If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

These small knots of wool are ephemeral and beautiful like a snowflakes. They are a perfect for handmade felt replacing glitter or sequins applied for other fabrics.
Needle felting is the most laborious and the most precise way of making felt. It is perfect whenever you work on a detail and want to control wool down to the smallest fiber.
Delicate wool fibers and our hands need to be protected with a soap made of natural olive oils. It makes our products longer lasting and skin-friendly.
