White Angel Figurine – Christmas Home Decor or Tree Topper

‹Return to Previous Page
Description

Description

This white angel figurine is a lovely home decor for those, who like handmade items. I create it in felting technique with great attention to details. This tall felt angel consists of superfine Australian merino wool. It has large white wings, black hair with two braids and white dress with decorative motif. The dress is hollow, so you can easily use this angel as a Christmass tree topper. You can also stuff it with paper and put it on a table, windowsill or shelf to decorate your house before holidays.

This angel statue is a piece of fiber art. It has amuzing design and with no facial features it looks similar to the Waldorf dolls. You can cross her arms and arrange her hair. Also, if you buy several pieces, you will be able to pose some charming scenes on your shelf or in your nativity set. This white angel figurine will give a joyous touch to your interiors. It will be perfect as a Christmas gift or just as a decorative figurine for yourself. It has a power to make your house more artistic and beautiful.

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

Wool nepps for felting
Wool nepps

These small bits of wool are delicate and ephemeral like snowflakes. They are just perfect to use with handmade felt as a substitute for glitter and sequins which are applied to other fabrics.

Colorful linen fibres standing in line
Linen fibers

They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.

Natural felting soap made of olive oil
Felting soap

Delicate wool fibers, just as my hands, need to be protected with a soap made of natural olive oils. This soap makes my products longer lasting and skin-friendly.

Wet felting

Wet felting is just rubbing wool fibers with your own hands. You had better go to the gym and exercise your muscles before you even start! Nothing can help more than strong arms.
