Wool Mittens Decorated with Red Lace Roses

‹Return to Previous Page

These elegant wool mittens are made of natural gray merino wool with red lace roses. They are really beautiful and have very romantic style. Gray wool tubes with a thumb hole are made by hand in wet felting technique. They are really soft, skin friendly and breathable – perfect for warm winter or cold spring and autumn. Both mittens are decorated with red flower pattern, which has been cut from the lace and handsewn into the wool. It is neatly attached and makes these fingerless gloves a piece of wearable art. With red roses on a gray background these mittens are just wonderful and are perfect for elegant women. They will look amazing with your daily outfit and will give you a feeling of comfort and luxury.

Choose one of four sizes from my sizing guide. In case your hands fit two sizes, you can choose the smaller one for close fit or the bigger one for more loose mittens.

Washing Instructions

How to care about felted handicraft

Merino does not need to be washed as often as other types of wool. However, you may want to refresh it from time to time. Felted accessories and jewelry keep their colors and shape if hand washed gently in warm water. Here is a detailed instruction on how to care about them (we enclose it in every shipment as well):

  • Wash your felt handicraft manually at about 30 Celsjus degrees using washing agents for wool.
  • Dip them gently, but do not rub - otherwise they may shrink or deform.
  • After washing, rinse your felt item with water of the same temperature, preferably with a rinsing liquid for wool.
  • Do not wring or twist felt - remove the excess water with your hands using a towel.
  • Spread out washed accessories on a towel to let them dry.
  • If necessary iron your felt item using 'wool' mode or applying a low temperature.

They are natural fibers collected from flax plants. Although they are thicker than silk fibers, they also look pretty cool on felted background.
